The Franke Foundation is actively involved in helping young people and the elderly in the Ostalbkreis region. We firmly believe that young people and senior citizens deserve special support to improve their quality of life and meet their individual needs.
Through targeted programs and projects, we promote the integration, education and care of children, young people and the elderly in our region to create an inclusive and supportive community.

As a board member of the Franke Foundation, I am deeply touched by the long-standing relationships between Franke GmbH and organizations that support youth and elderly care in the Ostalbkreis region. These connections have already led to numerous moving projects that have enriched the lives of people in our community.

Projects
Here you can see a selection of research and development projects funded by the Erich Franke Foundation. Funding can take various forms:
- as one-off financial support
- as long-term financial support over a certain period of time
- in the form of training and instruction, e.g. in the Technolino and Explorhino projects
- sponsoring excursions, study trips
- by providing premises for meetings, lectures and celebrations

How to apply for funding
- Application: Interested parties submit a formal application with a project description, budget and implementation plan.
- Review: The foundation evaluates the applications based on criteria such as project goals and financial sustainability.
- Decision: Funding decisions are based on evaluation and potential for positive change.
- Notification: Applicants are notified of the outcome.
- Project implementation: Funded organizations implement the project and submit regular progress reports.
- Completion and evaluation: At the end of the project, the effectiveness is assessed and lessons learned are derived.
